From its outset KIMMINIC has undertaken various research projects under the leadership of our resident Research Director, Dr. Rebecca Kahama. The research projects include:
- Development/identification of Ghanaian Jatropha seed type to optimize oil yield;
- Optimized fertilization and irrigation of Jatropha plantations;
- Extraction of Jatropha oil to minimize residual oil;
- Oxidative stability of Jatropha oil;
- Intercropping practices for optimized weed management.
