KIMMINIC Corporation

Environmentally-Friendly Fuel Solution

Social and Economic Sustainability

KIMMINIC’s vision is to be a leading biofuel producer through the cultivation, production and distribution of Jatropha oil and biodiesel from Jatropha seeds. Through our operation, we are determined to:

  • create wealth for our shareholders and business partners;
  • provide employment opportunities and wealth for the communities we operate in;
  • bring environmental dividends to "our world".

Sustainable Community Partnership

KIMMINIC operates a unique model of joint plantation ownership with the local communities in the Brong Ahafo Region. Under the agreement, the land owners in the different plantations--Bredi, Abease, Yeji and Dinkra, are entitled to a quarter(25%) of the profits of this venture.

KIMMINIC’s acquisition process from the traditional councils is consistent with the Office of Administrator of Stool Lands Act of 1994 (Act 481). KIMMINIC explained the benefits and impacts of the projects to the chiefs before the lands were acquired. The Joint Venture(JV) owns the land for the duration of the leasehold. The land is registered as leased to the JV for 50 years and this lease is subject to renewal for an additional 45 years.

Going forward, KIMMINIC will continue as an active participant in the so-called JV committees thereby assisting our joint venture partners (Traditional Councils) and ensuring positive and sustainable economic, social and environmental impacts through KIMMINIC’s business activities.
