From its outset KIMMINIC has undertaken various research projects under the leadership of our resident Research Director, Dr. Rebecca Kahama. The research projects include:

• Development/identification of Ghanaian Jatropha seed type to optimize oil yield;
• Optimized fertilization and irrigation of Jatropha plantations;
• Extraction of Jatropha oil to minimize residual oil;
• Oxidative stability of Jatropha oil;
• Intercropping practices for optimized weed management.
